agency has a web site where you can search for jobs and/or register with that
agency. Websites are provided where
possible. You can create a
registration/profile and upload your resume prior to making an appointment to
interview with most of the agencies.
When
on the web site, look for terms like: Careers; Career Services; Jobs;
Employment; Join our team; Apply; similar words. Click on that area and follow the
prompts. If you are not familiar with
using computers and web sites, just take your time and backtrack or begin again
if you get stuck. Racine Public Library
and Workforce Development have computer classes to help you become more
comfortable using this technology.
Should
you contact an agency that does not have a way for you to register and upload
your resume, they may offer to have you e-mail it to them prior to your
appointment. Or, they may not. Just go with the flow of what happens.
